Join the 2025 BaseCamp Explore cycling team

The BaseCamp Explore cycling team is an extension of our community of cyclists who aim to explore new challenges, new places, and new possibilities. Whether you train with us through group coaching, one-on-one coaching, or cycling camps, we want you to join the BaseCamp Explore team! Wear the BaseCamp colors, meet new friends, get high fives as you cross the finish line, and be eligible for rewards.

What you get

As a BaseCamp Explore team rider, you get some pretty cool benefits!

  • Team community and discussion

  • Additional coaching benefits, including the ability to attend and ride with BaseCamp coaches at select events

  • Plan gatherings with other team members at events through our Connect page

  • End-of-season community celebration

  • Additional benefits through our "BaseCamp Bucks" rewards when you complete your team membership (see the the How it Works section below)

Those who complete their team membership as outlined in the How it Works section below will receive:

  • $250 BaseCamp Bucks to use between October 20, 2025, and October 19, 2026

How it Works

Who is eligible to join the BaseCamp Explore cycling team?

Anyone who purchases any version of our 2025 BaseCamp custom jersey or tech tee when our store opens December 16, 2024, is eligible to join the team. The jersey or tech tee is the only required purchase, but additional kit items will be available at a 20% discount if desired. The store will open again in the spring of 2025 before our Mallorca camp, and anyone who purchases a jersey or tech tee at that time is also eligible to join the team. 

How do I join the BaseCamp Explore cycling team?

What are the requirements to earn BaseCamp Bucks?

We ask all Explore team riders to do the following for at least five organized events between January 1, 2025, and October 19, 2025:

  1. Register for each event with BaseCamp listed as your team on BikeReg or other registration sites, including a link to joinbasecamp.com in your event registration when possible. The organized events can be races, gran fondos, centuries, fundraiser rides, or anything other than a regular group ride! Doing this for at least five events will qualify you for the BaseCamp Bucks rewards below.

  2. Wear any BaseCamp jersey or full kit during each event.

  3. ​Email us a simple report of each event with at least one picture of you at the event in your BaseCamp kit (we love to share these reports and photos on our Stories page!).

  4. This is optional, but we encourage you to post a picture on Facebook and/or Instagram wearing the BaseCamp kit at each event (it's even better if other team members are in the photo!) and tag us @basecamp_cycling on Instagram and @basecamptrainwhereyoubelong on Facebook. Just keep in mind the posts have to be public so we can see them.

What are BaseCamp Bucks?

Any BaseCamp Explore team member who participates in at least five events as outlined above between January 1, 2025, and October 19, 2025, will earn $250 in BaseCamp Bucks on October 20, 2025 as follows:​​

 

  • $50 toward the 2025-2026 BaseCamp winter group coaching session (in addition to any other discount)

  • $100 toward any live BaseCamp camp (in addition to your alumni discount)

  • $100 toward any BaseCamp 2025-2026 kit purchase (in addition to your normal 20% BaseCamp discount)

 

BaseCamp Bucks can be used between October 20, 2025, and October 19, 2026, and are valid only for the amounts and items presented above. BaseCamp Bucks cannot be transferred to any other person, and they do not have any cash value.

Join the BaseCamp Explore Team

When you sign up for the team, you will receive an email confirmation and be able to access our Connect page to let us know which events you'll be participating in and who else will be there.
