Strength Training: Short Stop Swings
With this week moving us into kettlebell swings, some of you may have found your back or even your technique being a big limiter for you. If this is the case for you, instead of doing the kettlebell swings in the next two weeks, do the kettlebell short-stop swing instead, demonstrated in the video below . This version helps you learn the posture, position, and stiffness needed to get the swing right. Pay attention to the cues!
Lastly, listen to your body! If sets of 5 repetitions feel like enough, stick with that instead of doing the reps written.
