Ultimate guide to Circle
This guide walks you through how to log in, navigate the community, and participate as a member.
Join Circle for the first time
Click your invitation link to join the Circle spaces. We recommend doing this on a desktop computer, as some users have experienced an issue receiving the confirmation email when done on mobile.
Follow the prompts to create your user name and password.
Navigate the spaces
Circle is organized into Spaces, which act like threads or channels separated by subject. Once you log in, you'll see several spaces, including Community, Learning Center, Events, etc. Spaces are further organized into topics, which you can see at the top of the Space feed. When you create a new post, you will choose both the Space it should show up in and any topics that are relevant.
Engage and participate
We encourage you to post questions, share experiences, and reply to others.
To post, click New Post, choose a Space, and write your message.
Select any topics relevant to your post.
Use @mentions (for example, @Tim Cusick) to tag a coach or teammate.
You can attach images, files, or videos to your post.
Use Comments to reply to others and build conversation threads.
Adjust notifications
Circle gives you control over what notifications you receive.
Click your profile icon → Notifications.
Choose to receive updates via email, mobile, or in-app only.
You can also adjust notifications at the Space level to follow or mute specific channels.
Search and find content
The Search bar at the top of Circle is your best tool to find posts, guides, and Q&A threads.
Type a keyword (like “Zwift” or “nutrition”) to see all related posts.
Filter results by Space or author for faster results.
Tips and troubleshooting
Can't log in or join Circle? If the link you've received does not work for you, email Debi at debi@joinbasecamp.com, and she'll make sure you get in.
Can't see all Spaces? Some Spaces unlock when your BaseCamp program begins or as you complete onboarding.
Images appear too large in your posts? You can resize images before posting them or upload smaller versions (under 2MB for best results).
Notifications feel overwhelming? Adjust your settings under Profile → Notifications or unfollow certain Spaces to reduce email volume.
Want to rename or manage a Space? Only admins can rename or resize Spaces; members cannot. Let us know if something needs to be fixed.
