My passion has always been cycling, and it started at the age of 14 as a junior, offering me many opportunities to race around the world and later lead teams in many countries. As an athlete, I have accumulated experiences as an amateur and professional, being coached and mentored by some of the best coaches and directors in the world. As a coach, I have combined my experiences and understanding of the mental side of the sport with the science involved with training program creation to have an integrated approach to coaching.
The coach-athlete relationship is important to me, and I want to create an environment of understanding and trust. I believe it's critical to be aware of life's demands and stresses and building/adjusting a training program to accommodate those, as this maximizes the effectiveness and enjoyment of the training and competitive process.
I have coached men, women, juniors, masters, and professionals. I have mentored juniors on their path to European careers, and athletes I have been involved with have excelled regionally and nationally, including winning national championships, winning world championships, and making Olympic teams. This has been a large part of my life and extremely fulfilling.
After stepping away from cycling for a bit, I returned to coaching in early 2025. I enjoy working with athletes to realize their potential and achieve their goals!
