Extra Nights of Lodging
Want to arrive early to beat jetlag or stay later to explore the island on your own? Book some extra nights at our group rates! The hotel does sell out, so be sure to send in your arrival and departure dates as soon as you have them. The additional cost will be added to your final camp invoice.
Pre-Camp Early Arrival
A lot of athletes feel so much better at camp when they arrive on the island early and are able to settle into the hotel, build or rent their bikes without any rush, explore the area a little, and get some extra rest before camp officially starts. This is what our coaches do each year, and we highly recommend it, so to make it easier for our camp attendees, we are offering an optional pre-camp add-on package that includes the following:
Two nights of lodging before camp with half board (includes breakfast and dinner at the hotel, starting with Wednesday dinner)
Two complimentary airport transfer times on Wednesday, April 8, at 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. (the shuttles times may be adjusted to accommodate as many arrivals as possible but will never be adjusted to exclude anyone who has already signed up for a shuttle)
An optional, casual, no-drop shakeout ride Thursday afternoon with our coaching team
We believe that giving yourself a little extra time on the island will greatly improve your experience. Our goals are to help save you a little money by using our airport shuttles and to create an easy way to enhance your camp experience.
Our coaches will be on site at the Viva Blue starting Thursday, April 9, and will be available to help with building your bike and other preparation as needed.
If you're renting a bike on the island, feel free to choose your rental start date at any time up till camp begins on Friday.
The cost for this pre-camp add-on package is $275 per person if you're sharing a room with someone else or $375 if you've got a single-occupancy room (if you upgrade to a premium room, the cost for the pre-camp package will increase accordingly; email us for details). The typical cost of one-way transportation from the airport to our hotel for two people is about 100 Euros, so we hope this package will help you save some money while easing the transition to island time.
Please note that you still can add extra nights to your lodging before or after camp at our group rate even if you do not wish to book the official pre-camp package.
Room Upgrade Options
Our standard lodging at camp is the Viva Blue's apartment, which includes a living area, separate bedroom, bathroom, and balcony. We love these rooms ourselves and find them very pleasant, but the Viva Blue does have higher-level rooms available! If you would like to upgrade your apartment to one of the options below (or to any of the apartments listed on the Viva Blue's website), please email us, and we will be happy to confirm availability and book your upgrade.
