Debbie's story: Tour de Goshen

BaseCamp athlete Debbie Kirkhus shared her experience at the 2025 Tour de Goshen bike race in New York.

The Tour de Goshen was my first real organized road event on my new Lauf Uthald road bike. I have mostly been riding gravel this past year, so it was fun to join this road event in a beautiful area in Orange County, NY.

The Tour offered a variety of routes. I chose the long route of 60 miles with over 4000 feet of rolling hills. Although it was hot and humid, it was such a well-supported and friendly event, with stocked fuel stations throughout. I was able to hook up with fellow BaseCamper Linda Marie at the after-ride celebration with food, live music, and Martin the camel.
