Beth's story: Unbound

BaseCamp athlete Beth Huffaker shared her experience at the 2026 Unbound gravel bike race in Kansas.

Well, that was different! First time riding in the rain, walking in the mud pushing my bike, and stopping at the car wash to clean off me, my bike, and everything else!

50 miles racing through the Flint Hills at the 20th anniversary of Unbound in Emporia, KS, on Saturday was quite the adventure!

I had a great time spending the weekend with BaseCamp friends, and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again in Lincoln, where it will hopefully be sunny and 70 for Gravel Worlds!
