Brendan's story: Truckee Gravel

BaseCamp athlete Brendan John shared his experience at the 2025 Truckee Gravel bike race in California.

Had GI bug the night before so didn't think I was going to race. Did the medium course, which actually has most people. Awesome mix of course and people. Got 37/400. 8th in 40+. Went great until cramped bad last 5-10 miles. Would recommend event as course showcases Truckee area. They even have bottle hand-ups for the long course.
