Gary's story: Lazy Horse Gravel Grind

BaseCamp athlete Gary Wenzl shared his experience at the 2025 Lazy Horse Gravel Grind bike race in Nebraska.

Basecamp Explore Team at 2025 Lazy Horse 100k & 50k Gravel Grind. It was another fun event and extra special this year being able to participate with Basecamp alumni Rhonda Wright and her husband Jamie doing the 100k and also getting to meet new friends, BaseCamp alumni Sue Shirley-Hageman and her husband Galen, who did the 50k.

It was a nice day to ride the gravel and MMRs and share the day with other Basecamp members.
