Jaime's story: Minarets Endurance Classic

BaseCamp athlete Jaime Baeza shared her experience at the 2026 Minarets Endurance Classic in California.

This was my second time racing this event. This year I formed a coed team of three to race the six-hour event. We each completed three laps of the course in the time we had. It ended up being a very hot day for February, so it was a shock to the system. We raced hard, stayed on top of our nutrition and hydration, and brought home the award for the six-hour coed relay team. I will do this event every year it’s offered, either solo or with a team, as it is fun either way!
