Stacey's story: Artic Bicycle Club Summer Series XC 5

BaseCamp athlete Stacey Kolstad shared her experience at the 2026 Arctic Bicycle Club Summer Series XC No. 5 mountain bike race in Alaska.

Mountain bike race in Anchorage on the hillside trails. The trails had some steep root sections and the weather was HOT! No bears (seen) so that was a plus. I pre-rode the course so certainly more prepared.

This is the 5th mountain bike race in a series. My goal is to get in 5 of the 7 to qualify in the final standings.
