Trish's story: Black Fly Challenge

BaseCamp athlete Trish Vantucci shared her experience at the 2025 Black Fly Challenge bike race in New York.

We had a great weekend in the ADKs for The Black Fly Challenge. Such a great race and so well run. Highly recommend it and would love to see more of these awesome kits out there. It was great to finally meet Nancy Mizak in person after about 3 years of her trying to convince me to join BaseCamp. I finally listened to her this past winter and have really enjoyed being part of this amazing group!! I even bought a Lauf!! It was a beautiful day for riding bikes and NO black flies!! Have fun out there and go ride!!
